Ski season is upon us!

Last year was my first full ski season.  I bought all the gear, took lessons, and had pretty much the best time.  Ryan and I had season passes to Loveland which is conveniently the closest resort to Denver, so we drove up at least 1 day a weekend, and sometimes hitched a ride with friends.

This season, we bought a bigger pass... to 5 different resorts, for all the skiing we want!  I'm pretty excited. 

Also, we went in on a condo with friends so we can stay in the mountains all weekend, especially since the resorts we now can go to are all further from Denver, and spending time with a great group of people is always a fun time!


This weekend we skied a little, and hung out a lot. Not many runs are open yet and I'm completely out of shape.  My legs were a'burnin'!  So we kicked it in the parking lot with burgers and games. 

Really looking forward to this ski season.

    ahhh so fun! I am so jealous. We went skiing last spring break and I'm dying to go back. Looks like y'all are taking full advantage. :)

      you'll have to make it out again, we're suppose to have much more snow than last year!

    Ah man I'm so jealous!! I'm keepin' an eye out on Groupon and Westword Daily Deals hoping that they'll do a day pass discount so that I can come and hang out with you guys!! Fingers crossed I can make a pass happen next year... :)

      i hope so too! ryan might be able to get some free passes to loveland. it's no winterpark or anything, but it would be a fun to ski/board on a saturday, especially for freeeeeee.

    I have never been skiing! I made the mistake of thinking I'd be better at snowboarding when I went to Whistler, BC four years ago, instead I sold my lift ticket and went shopping ;) I wish I had your dedication!

      ha! you're my kind of girl. i mean, i love skiing, don't get me wrong. but i sure love to shop too!
