The Coffee Shop Effect

There aren't too many things I love more than spending an afternoon in a coffee shop.

I can't pinpoint exactly what makes my heart so happy; perhaps it's the combination of coffee aromas, quiet chatter, people immersed in books and newspapers, the lightening and artwork on the walls, and the quality of conversation when you're with a friend (it just seems better).

Almost anyone can drink a cup of joe at home, but instead they make their way to a coffee shop, just like I did, to enjoy the experience of it all.

  1. I work from home which can be hard since you don't get that regular social aspect. I love just going to coffee shops sometimes, sitting and people watching. It does just the trick ;)

  5. There's something so quiet and cozy about coffee shops that makes time slow down! I completely agree with you, it's the ultimate zen zone.

  6. I love your header! It's so awesome. And the background is really cool. I love going to a good coffee shop, but it's been awhile since I've had one that I really really love. When I lived in Massachusetts, there was this one in Rockport, right on the coast, called the Bean and Leaf. It was so cozy. I really love going to Atlas in Boulder, too.
